Innovative Thinking – Business beyond Covid

It was once said that ‘There are decades when nothing happens… and then weeks when decades happen’, and so it came to pass with 2020. Now, as we begin to reach out, post-Covid, how should we adapt, develop and lead our businesses into a new landscape? How should we best focus, engage and adapt our practices? In this engaging webinar, Michael Jackson will provide plenty of food for thought and a sense of the right direction. Doyle Buehler

Digital Transformation is not a buzzword. As the CMO, CEO, or CDO, you now have a choice to make. Do you create transformation, or continue with the status quo towards mediocrity.

The digital revolution is here. Disruption is all around us. Can you afford to be average in a sea of mediocrity? Are you actually creating transformation or hoping it will happen? Have you created the infrastructure for social selling yet?

If you are looking for overnight success, then I can’t help you. I’m in it only for the long-game of digital strategy for your business. Strategies only work when you take the time to craft them and take the time to implement. Digital is moving so fast that you might miss something if you blink – give yourself a solid digital strategic platform that gets results for the long-term.

Edward Chapman

Presents “Trail Running Lessons For a New Economy”

at 14:00 (GMT+2)

Patrick Kuwana

Patrick is the founder and CEO of C3 Capital – a private investment business that uniquely combines financial capital with a business growth acceleration blueprint and strategic execution expertise to co-create inclusive wealth and prosperity out of investment opportunities in select industries in Africa. He is also one of the management partners in the African Digital Asset Management Fund (a Pan-African private equity digital impact fund).

After studying Computer Science, Patrick started his career as a computer technician, moving through the ranks to hold senior executive positions at Hewlett Packard, Oracle Corporation and Computer Science Corporation.

Edward Chapman

Running and particularly ultrarunning teaches you some significant lessons which can be applied to business and life in general. Edward speaks from the heart and with passion using his experiences, many of them forged in the heat of the Kalahari Desert, to deliver interesting and motivating talks to a wide variety of audiences.

Edward is an ordinary guy, well as ordinary as a recovering accountant can be, but has achieved extraordinary things through running.

At the age of 40 a grave health warning resulted in the first tentative running steps. It took some time, but he eventually became hooked and has over 100 marathons or ultra marathons under his belt; completing the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon, a 250km desert self-sufficiency stage race, ten times. More people have walked on the moon than done that, not bad for an ex fat bloke.

Tony Sham

Morris E. Ruddick

Presents “Applying Ancient Wisdom to Rebuild Local Economies”

at 16:00 (GMT+2)

Tony Sham

Greetings, I am Tony Sham and I am a man on a mission! My mission is to help businesses move their marketing from bland to better to great! I get to see so many companies’ marketing in my line of business and about 95% of it is unfocussed, company centric and boastful.

I want people to learn the principles that make it better. How good your marketing is, is not a matter of opinion but a matter of fact based on how the market reacts to it.
I started my career in marketing with a ten year stint at the Nielsen Company, then and still one of the world’s major marketing research companies. They ignited in me a thirst for knowledge to understand not only what marketing works and what doesn’t but why it works, As a trained statistician I am a compulsive analyst which I bring to bear on marketing strategy.

I have been in the marketing industry my whole life and I’ve gained so many insights as to how a prospect thinks and acts and I love to share those insights
